Gareth qualified through the London School of Sports Massage in July 2005 at its Southampton base.  Having worked for Landrover for 17 years, Gareth felt a change was necessary.  Having played much cricket and various other sports, Gareth found a gateway to becoming a sports and remedial massage therapist through having treatments himself for various injuries.  Gareth quotes “I feel it helps to know how the treatment works for me to confidently apply it to others”.  

As well as practicing at Birmingham Centre for Chinese Medicine, Gareth enjoys working with Birchfield Harrier athletes, UK Athletics, Birmingham City Council events and body builders. He currently makes home visits helping a young lad with Cerebral palsy. 

Gareth is a member of the Sports Massage Association, representing best practice within the field.
