Rachel has competed in many sports at all levels including
swimming, running, cycling, football, rowing, hockey and roller skating.
Since her school days she has been a keen runner; she regularly competed
for Kent County in track and cross country
running, and represented GB at biathlon (running and swimming). More
recently she has trained and competed in triathlons and finished 7th in
the European Age-Group Triathlon Championships. She is currently a member
of BRAT (Birmingham Running, Athletics and Triathlon) club.
She also takes a great interest in coaching and holds her level 2
athletics and level 1 triathlon coach qualifications. In 2010 she coached
the girls cross country team from Wanganui
Collegiate School
who represented New
Zealand at the World Schools Cross
Country Championships. She is very happy to offer training advice to
anyone who would like it.
